The Strengthen and Restore Protein Treatment Masque is designed to replenish lost protein in the hair while maintaining softness and manageability.

Hair is primarily made up of keratin protein. Over time, daily manipulation, heat styling, chemical processing, and environmental exposure gradually weaken the hair structure by breaking down these proteins.

This treatment works by depositing hydrolyzed proteins into weakened areas of the hair shaft, helping to reinforce structure, improve strength, and reduce breakage. Unlike traditional protein treatments that can leave the hair stiff, this formula is balanced with conditioning agents to ensure the hair remains soft, flexible, and easy to detangle after use.

PROTEIN USE BASED ON POROSITY

• Medium porosity hair: every 6 weeks
• Low porosity hair: every 8 weeks

It is advisable to set a reminder on your phone after your first use. This helps you stay consistent and avoid skipping treatments, which can lead to increased breakage over time.

HOW TO USE

• Start with freshly washed, clean, wet hair

• If buildup is present, cleanse using a clarifying shampoo or Detoxifying Clay Mask

• Section the hair for easy application and proper coverage

• Apply a moderate amount into your palms, rub your hands together, then work through each section

• Add more only if needed

• Cover with a shower cap

• Steam under a hooded dryer or steam cap for 30 minutes

• Rinse thoroughly (do not shampoo after)

• Follow up with your leave-in conditioner

Our formulas are intentionally balanced to provide effective care without being excessively heavy, making them suitable for low-, medium-, and high-porosity hair. The amount and frequency of use can be adjusted according to your hair’s needs.

The same formula can deliver different levels of conditioning depending on how much is applied, how wet the hair is, how thoroughly it is distributed, and what is applied afterwards. If you have low-porosity hair, you may prefer a lighter application, while higher-porosity hair may benefit from a more generous application or additional moisture-sealing steps.

GET THE MOST FROM YOUR TREATMENT

This formula is designed to work across different hair porosities. For low-porosity hair, applying the treatment to wet/damp hair and using gentle heat from an electric steam/heat cap, or hooded dryer can help enhance the conditioning experience and make the treatment easier to distribute through the hair.

High-porosity hair can also benefit from gentle heat or covered processing, particularly when deeper conditioning and moisture retention are desired.

Adjust the amount, processing time, and frequency according to your hair’s thickness, condition, porosity, and individual needs.

FORMULATED FOR THE HAIR, NOT THE SCALP

These products are formulated primarily for the hair shaft and are not intended to be applied directly to the scalp. Avoid deliberately applying them to your scalp.

If the product comes into contact with your scalp during application, simply rinse your scalp thoroughly when rinsing out the product. Thorough rinsing helps prevent product residue from remaining on the scalp, which may contribute to buildup, irritation, itching, flaking, clogged follicles, or folliculitis in some individuals, particularly those with sensitive scalps.

For best results, focus application on the hair, especially the lengths and ends, and rinse thoroughly after the recommended processing time.
